THE FOREST VALLEY SCAVENGER HUNT 2011

Are you ready?  On Friday, March 25, your class will get a chance to explore the school in search of secret clues.  Each clue will take you one step closer to completing the scavenger hunt.  Check here on Friday morning to get started on the hunt!

CHARACTER EDUCATION ASSEMBLY: HONESTY & TRUSTWORTHINESS

Forest Valley ES gathered once again to introduce the next character education theme for March: honesty & trustworthiness.  Ms. Rawes' grade 5 class prepared five skits that each demonstrated honesty in different scenarios.  Great job 5's!  Certificates were also given out to the recipients of the February fairness award.

 

 

 



BLUES IN THE SCHOOLS

Forest Valley ES had the great opportunity to take part in the Blues In The Schools program between February 28 until March 11.  The entire school enjoyed four different blues concerts featuring artists such as Drew Nelson & J.W. Jones, Jesse Green, Jason Fryer, Micheal Jerome Brown & The Mighty Popo.  A small group of students of all ages will also participate in a blues music workshop, where they will put together a blues performance to play for the rest of the school.
